Tennosha Shrine Sword Forest, Yukie Shrine |

This shrine has been a religious center for devout swordsmiths since olden
times. A pine tree stands in the Shrine's forest (designated as a local
monument by Okayama Prefecture), associated with Takauji Ashikaga (the
first shogun of the Muromachi era). |

Jiganin Temple (Temple for the Bizen Osafune Master Swordsmiths) |

Loved by the local people, this Temple for the Osafune swordsmiths, known
as "Jiganin", is dedicated to Amitabha Buddha. The temple holds
a memorial service for the departed souls of swordsmiths here every year. |

This museum was a western-style hospital built in the early Taisho era
(1912-1926) before its renovation. Exhibits include a wide range of selections:
from the weapons of Bizen Fukuoka to utensils, medical books, paintings
and calligraphy work. |

Myokoji Temple is a Nichiren-shu temple founded in 1403 (Ouei 10) by Saint
Nichiden, the son of a feudal lord in the province of Harima. |

The market of former commercial town Bizen Fukuoka flourished with activity,
described in the picture scrolls of Saint Ippen. Old houses still remain
which bring memories of the town in its older days. |

Sue Ancient Museum |

The Sue area abounds in ancient tombs including the Tsukiyama Tomb, and
regional ruins include a Sue earthenware kiln site. The Sue Ancient Museum
showcases findings from these ruins. |

Three two-storied cottages fully equipped with bath and toilet for five
persons. There are other facilities such as an open recreation space, an
outdoor athletic playground and a camping site. Recommended for groups
