Made: Rebuilt in Kaei 3 (1850)
Location: Yokeiji temple, Kitashima, Oku
Dimensions: Front:3.69m Side:3.16m

According to its munafuda (commemorative inscription), this bell tower, which houses a temple bell designated an Important Cultural Property by Okayama Prefecture, was rebuilt in 1850.
The building, slightly larger than most such bell towers, is elaborately decorated. Meanwhile, the two gabled eaves, which are set in-line with the rest of the roof on each side, give a sense of dynamism to its overall finely balanced appearance.
Although the bell tower was reconstructed in the late Edo period in 1850, it is said to retain the style of the late Momoyama to early Edo periods (1600-1660)
