Location: Honrenji temple, Ushimado, Ushimado Town
Dimensions: Length: 11.14 m, Width: 10.85m
Soshidō are halls dedicated to a temple’s founder. Although when the original hall in Honrenji was built is unknown, it was rebuilt in Meiwa 6 (1769). This is the largest of any such hall in Okayama prefecture, and is well recognised for its plan, structure, and appearance.
